Just curious if anyone would know of any spots in Pictou County that the Yellow or White Perch fishing would be good. I grew up fishing Smallmouth Bass and panfish in Ontario, I know the Smallmouth are rare in Pictou County so I thought I would target some perch.

hi, I grew up fishing the same I live in Westville my self I fish the resivoir in granton across from michline. lots of sallies and there is perch too good lock

Thanks for the information, I will have to check it out. Also, I assume when you typed sallies you meant smallies as in smallmouth.

yes I meant to type smallmouth. My son and I also went to perch lake by west branch last weekend. there seems to be a good population of perch in that one as well.
