Hi all,

I am just looking for some general info on where to catch some decent numbers of white perch. Not looking for anybodys honey hole, just the name of a decent lake for them.

Thanks for any assistance,

Chris

I"m going to be in the ardoise area this weekend but haven't fihed any of the water systems there, and perch would be great for the young feller, any suggestions of ponds of lakes would be assume.

Thanks in advance

I have had the best luck fishing whites at Lumsdens Dam, down at the far end of the lake, and out at Methals. I was catching them on a blue jointed rapala, and was getting one about every 3 casts while at Lumsdens.
i mentioned them in another post just today about catfish .but west chezzecook lake has pretty much been over run with wite perch and catfish. i used to catch trout there years ago but for the last couple of years , nothing but white perch steadily .
Is there any access to wet Chezzecook lake for a boat or canoe?
there are a few places right along side the old hwy.down just past the Gaetzbrook school. and there is a actual boat launch back on conrad settlement rd.
as for canoe .alexander rd has a real nice little launch area about 200 feet in. it is a private rd but the owner ,believe's in a little respect goes along way.(no garbage)
Thanks I will go and have a look. Dont worry about garbage that really is my pet hate.
if your running a boat .you should know ahead of time the lake has alot of large rocks that seem to hide just below the surface.
Woodward Sanford on The Walton Woods Rd has both white perch andYellow depending which route you take in it can be1/2h or 15min. Found they favor live minnows small. Also you get some nice white perch in the Beaverpond thru the ice,They have to be big to survive there with Pickerel.
