I am looking for a rod holder that can be clamped to the side of my boat. I have a 16ft aluminum Crestliner Kodiak, and would like something I don't need to drill in. I have ordered one from Highliner, but from a catalogue and couldn't physically see it so I won't know how appropriate it will be until it comes in. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

i'm assuming you mean to hold like 4-5 rods when traveling in your boat? If so Berkley makes a clamp on style and I have seen them at CDN Tire, no drilling required...hope this helps.

I have a pair of Scotty mounts that use the oarlock holes to attach them to the boat, very convenient and functional, I recommend them for anyone that doesn't want to mark their boat.
And as a side note, Berkeley rod holders which cost much less will fit any of the Scotty mounts, but Scotty holders won't fit the competition.

Cheers
Greg
