I think that's the name of it, in Dartmouth, one of the ones that you can fish year round for rainbows? Correct me if I'm wrong.

My father-in-law has a place on that lake and I want to go fish there in a week or so, but I'll mostly be doing it if/when the water is open. What kind of tackle should I be using? Never fished for rainbows before and I've never fished for anything freshwater this time of year.

Any tips/advice would really help!

Thanks and Happy new year!

a lot of guys use the powerbait just off the bottom and let it sit ( u need a chair and patience for this) or any of the small spinners will work. i have caught a couple of good size rainbows there in the summer while wacky rigged for bass.
