3 ft swells and very rough seas. Then the wind came up. I decided to call it a day

That is great! They are starting to run. I am coming that way to catch some my self. Is it true that for recreation, you can only get 20 per person...or does that mean 20 a day per person..

20 per person per day. No dropping them off and going back out to catch more

Thanks Gary! I follow this thread every year. I find the Mackerel up Sheet Harbour way generally seem to like lures vs the red feather triple rig. Weird eh.

This year the mackerel love the feathers and it doesn't matter what color I use, Red, green, yellow or white they take them all.
