When using jig heads on a natural colored plastic I (in the past) always leaned towards a matching color. In salt when using a white or chartruse plastic I always would use red.
Here in Nova, What seems to be the practice? When do you use the lead color,if at all?

Mostly I use plain uncolored lead heads... and grubbin is a favorite way for me to target smallies... I tried colors from time to time but never noticed much if any difference.

NSYakfisher,
When I lived in Ontario years back we used to fish for bass with black grubs with chartruse tails exclusively. What colors seem to work for you here?
