I know the feeling lol. When I lived in Northern Ontario the winters are long and cold. So naturally I got bit by the ice bug. the Ice fishing lasts about 4 months out of the year.
I'd see my self sitting on shore casting the days of spring, summer, and fall away daydreaming of being out on the frozen slab icing nice fish.
Now being back in Nova Scotia for the last couple of years I find myself doing the same thing lol. I'm getting the itching to go drill some holes and ice some bows for sure, bring on the cold.
BrianD, once the ice sets in, we'll see ya on Silver and put that gear to work...In the meantime, don't let lack of hardwater hold ya back...lots of fishing to be done from shore until everything freezes over solid...And if we've got room in the boat, anyone is more than welcome to come along...
