There's no getting around it.We all know that one of the most common offerings in the artificial world(barring flies) is the grub. I probably have 30 different types and sizes for both salt and fresh with the corresponding hooks. The question is, which ones will be in your kit come the 1st? Color and size?
Thanks for the input..

Just a couple years ago I started trying out grubs for trout in the small streams, instead of my usual panther martin spinners. WOW do they ever work. I use the smallest I can find, like 1", usually on just a hook, with a split shot. Find black works great for the little trout.

cant beat a 3 or 4" grub for smallies and picks, My go to color is white in 3", next is chartruse. And your right about the micro 1inch or 1.5 inch grubs working on trout, i rig them on a 1/32 or 1/16 jig head and your in business. I also catch alot of bass on 2 inch grubs on UL gear.
