Hi there. I remember years ago seeing a good population of nice sized catfish in Kearney Lake just on the outskirts of metro. Follow Dunbrack St. towards Hammonds Plains and it is on your left shortly after you go under the 102 overpass.
Thanks guys I'll be trying there come fishing season I've only been able to catch them at hailhales lake off of dunbrack by the Roxbury apartment building but they were very small
grand lake
fish lake
lake fletcher
kinsac
banook
micmac
paper mill
maccabe and beaverbank lake all have bull heads that i know of for sure
the biggest ones i have caught came out of fletchers
yes i deffinatly agree I fished banook this passed summer, if you you were to park across from the superstore beside banook than walk to the bridge from the jogging trail under the bridge there are usally a few cats.
my family has a cottage on west chezzecook lake. and the is a small island we call cat island due to the overwelming amount of catfish that seem to surround it.
not much for trout in the past few years , but there is alot of catfish and large white perch
