Went shopping for some new gear .

After trying cabelas i went to bass pro and have to say. Bass Pro won hands down for service and organization of the fishing supplies. Rods reels etc.

when in cabelas. all the gear and rods were so mixxed in together it was hard to find what i was looking for. Bass pro had rods in specific racks etc. Asked and boom easy peasy.

Service was better and more organized i guess is the bottom line.

Just thought i would share my lil adventure.

Aye ! Since i dont hunt. i did not really notice that.

Not sure if it was a rumor. But heard Bass Pro was Gonna absorb Cabelas.

I do shop locally for most of my gear. But do like to check out those mega sports stores from time to time.

Bass Pro is actually in negotiations to purchase Cabelas. After the purchase is complete, they plan to continue to operate Cabelas under its own name. There will be synergies and benefits from scale which will, no doubt, benefit the consumer.

Regards.....
