Hey so I am finally getting my boat out to NS this year. I was hoping to enter some bass tournaments. I see the ABO has a date for theirs which is awesome. But I cant find any dates for the other ones. Fishing season just started so I was hoping there would be a new list up by now. Does anyone know if the other tournaments plan on continuing this year or is it likely they will be on hold until next year.

Thanks

Hi Calva. What area are you interested in competing in for the smallmouth tournaments? All the clubs have applied for their permits and everything should be a go unless something goes in the wrong direction concerning the pandemic. The ABO is always a favorite event that is scheduled for July 17th and 18th on Ponhook. Most of the clubs have posted their tentative dates of their Facebook pages but once the permits are issued a complete list will be made available.

Here in HRM the Bronzeback Bassers have posted tentative dates as follows,
June 20th Shortts
July 4th MicMac
July 25th Morris
Aug 22 Grand
Sept 12 Shortts
Oct 3rd Bassin for Bucks on Grand Lake

Any other info needed in regards to entry fees, rules etc. feel free to reach out to me. Hope to see you on the water at some tournaments this year.

Unless something change 4 weeks agoi recieved a call from Andrew Lowe Inland fisheries saying all tournaments for this year are cancelled  .I myself had 5 permits to run ours in the HWWA events and there recycle. :( now
Permits for smallmouth tournaments were issued this past week. BBBA event was on Shortts yesterday and CASA had tournament today on Morris. Maybe check back with Andrew because the smallmouth tournament season is finally in full swing.
