The tangles and loops on a spinning reel is caused by twists in the line. There are several methods to get rid of them, from replacing your line, to running your line behind a boat with nothing attached to it. If you don't have a boat use the current of a brook or stream to remove the twists.

Also manually closing the bail after a cast reduces the twists in your line as well.

I just received my DH 5000 and it seems to be a decent reel. I don't know about the tangle free aspect because I haven't used it yet and I've never had much problem that way anyways. If you use a spinning reel properly that shouldn't be an issure. However it seems to be a quality reel and I don't agree with some of the negative reviews I've read on the net pertaining to the plastic knob on the handle. Mine looks and feels like aluminum. So I promptly bid on a DH4000 and won at $27.00 dollars with $22.99 shipping fee for it to go by mail. I avoid using UPS becasue they tack on a charge for customs brokerage. Mine came through without any HST. Checking some of the retail sources on the net I found these reels in the $100 range so I thought $50 seemed like a deal on ebay.
