I have fished it once. Caught brook trout. Be careful though. I was in a canoe and when the wind came up it got very hairy very quickly! Let us know how you make out. I don't recall that any of the trout that I caught were remarkable but it's big water and I didn't cover much of it.

I've only caught brookies there but I believe, if you are lucky, that there are a few Landlocked Salmon there as well.  As dreamwaters mentioned, be careful, it can blow up there quickly and get nasty, especially if you are alone in a canoe.

Regards...

Thanks all, sounds like a good lake. I will pick my days and locations (close to shore/ lee) carefully based on the wind.

thanks for the advice!

This information is certainly a little dated, but none the less, I had camped on Lake Charlotte for 10+ years, and my folks live there now, so I'm pretty familiar with the lake. In that time, we've caught Brook Trout, Landlock Salmon, and Perch. I've seen trout probably up to 15", and salmon over 18".
