Pretty much good for all those depending on what time of year.  Good shad fishing in shubie and where the nine mile river meets it and up the nine mile.  I've gotten trout in the nine mile river.  While fishing for shad I see trout jump often also.  Overall it's a pretty good river, you just gotta watch as they close certain parts of it in the spring when the striped bass spawn.  If you follow the river further down closer to shubie, there's alot of people fishing for striped bass with surf gear later in the spring.

We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. -- George W. Sears

Here's the documents listing the rivers in NS and their tidal boundaries.

Can any one suggest a good spot where the water is say 6 feet deep or so, but slow moving (no rapids and and say mild eddies), with lots of Chain Pickerel just waiting to find a new home, and good casting from shore?
