Have anyone fished the Cow Bay River that empties Morris Lake (HRM) down to the salt water? Or maybe just walked it?  What is the structure of the brook like? Any fish in it? Is it fast or slow moving? Very shallow or got a few feet of depth to it? Muddy or sandy?  etc etc Any good spots to fish from shore?

Answers to your questions -- YES -- It has Bass,CPs and Trout. (Mostly stocked in June)..tough to accessi n some places..use the railtrail to get to a good area,,slow water..pretty shallow...tough to walk in,,muddy bottom in most areas..also fished pretty heavy in the spring once the the CPs chase the Trout out of the lake..you may pull the odd Bass or Cp out of there now but you have a better chance from shore in Morris.
