I am on my way to Dartmouth tomorrow and was thinking about fishing the Philip. Has it got any water in it as well as trout? I was also thinking about that little stream that runs through the day park in Wentworth, I think it is a branch of the Wallace.
I'm just looking for a couple of spots to fish on the way home. The trout weren't big on the West but on my 3wgt and 4wgt rods they were still fun. The trout don't need to be massive for me to have fun.

Tim, the Philip is almost dry ... it is worse this year than last summer. I wouldn't bother worrying about the one in Wentworth either, i was up to the Waughs on sunday and it could use about 18" to 24" of water and i suspect the Wallace and it's tribs are in the same dire need of water.

Thank you, csft, I am driving back from the Island and was looking for a stream to fish on the way back. It looks like that isn't going to happen.
