Does anybody know of any half decent streams or rivers in the Dartmouth area? I fish the brook running through Portland estates a lot but I'm looking to mix it up a little bit.

take a drive to lake echo you,ll find lots of water there.pick up a topo map it will show u everything. if u don,t have a car the city bus goes that way too.

Try Shubie Canal.. lots of places to fish.. but not so good with a fly rod.. I have gotten trout,bass and even a Chain Pickeral out of there last year.. great place to fish from the Kayak

What have you caught in that small stream? I have seen kids fishing there but have never tried it.

Small pickerel mostly, bass too, and the odd trout
