Whats goin on guys, pretty new to the game, headed out tomorrow to lewis lake. Any favorite rigs your using? bait?

I pretty well stick to lures for ice fishing... Jigs tipped with various plastic grubs, jigging raps, and small spoons. Mostly baits on the small side.

16 smelts in 2 hours, 4-5 inchs of ice, couple of warm days might melt it

I think microwaving the shrimp makes it more rubbery, which keeps in secured to your hook a little better.

good ideas, i like the orange powerbait rolled in a ball fished with a slip sinker about a foot about, the powerbait floats and you can feel that tiny sinker hit bottom, when she stops taking line from you spool, reel in a foot and away ya go,

Anyone ice fish trout with jigs or spoons ? with or without bait ?

Super Dupers for ice fishing? Have never heard of that. The biggest trout I caught in my life was on a Super Duper last summer. I wouldn't have thought to use it on ice. Thanks!
