I snapped the tip of my 4 piece fly rod off last fall, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches off the tip, wondering if there's anyone in CB who can fix it for me?? Thanks.

I am of the belief that there is no fix for a broken tip, You can replace the tip guide and the rod will be stiffer or you can send it back for a new section. Good luck! I have one that needs to be sent back as well.

Just because you fish a lot doen't mean you are great or even good. It just means you fish a lot!!

I have fixed broken tips using a safety pin.Cut the latch off. You will be left with a circle and two straight ends. Bend the circle up 90 degrees. Place this piece at the end of your rod with the straight ends on either side of your rod. Rap them tightly with fly tying line and then glue the line. There is probably a demo of this on You Tube. Perry is correct though, the ones I have fixed are a bit stiffer.
