Hi

Does anyone know if there is any public boat access to Paces Lake and Scots lake out Musquodoboit Harbour way especially as they stock Paces Lake it would be nice to fish for them.

No such thing as a bad days fishing or a good day at work

Hi Uklee, there is a gravel launch at Paces. Once you turn off onto the dirt road I think it's the first right, might be 500 meters or so. There's even room for some parking.

There has been some pushback about parking over the past few years as the launch is on private property (at Paces) You will want to have an able vehicle to pull your boat back up the hill - it gets very rough.
As for as I know here is no public launch at Scots Pond but you can walk down the hill and launch a canoe or a tube with no problem

Yes Lee, there's only one major paved road going past Paces.

Thanks Darren and Mike for the info I will have to go and have a look later in the year and wet a line. I only have a canoe with a electric trolling motor so a good really good ramp is not nessary.
