Hy guys, i picked up an fly reel at a yardsale, it's a pflueger progess mod#1774. wondering if someone could shed some light on how old it is? thanks :)

Hey Seandavid,

Here is a link that may help you out: Pflueger Reels by Model Number

If I'm reading it right, it was either built in '52 or '56-'68. Take a look.

If I'm reading it right, it was either built in '52 or '56-'68. Take a look.

Hey Seandavid,

Basindawg, makes an excellent suggestion. Eric's could be a great stop for you. Not only to identify your reel but also to give it a look-see to see if it requires any fixes.
