Hello,
Does anyone know of a Canadian fly shop that carries a good assortment of soft hackle feathers? I am tying soft hackle flies and need a better selection of soft hackles than what I have. To order them from the US I get hit with the foreign exchange which is steep. Any help will be greatly appreciat as most fly shops carry either none or a very small assortment. Thank you.

You may want to check out Pikabou's store on ebay, located in the Yukon, I have had excellent service from him. Make sure ask for combined total before committing to buy, so shipping will be a total of $3.

The owner Bryant is a reply nice guy and can probably get what you want.

Or you could spend a nice Saturday and visit him and his store in Riverview, NB.

Thank you both for the replies. It seems like very few people tie soft hackle flies or fishes with them. Thank you again.

I got the soft hackle that I needed at Flymart. It seems to be about the only place that carries any amount in Canada. Hopefully this information will help others looking for soft hackle material.
