The Halifax Wildlife Association is having a members' night on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in the auditorium of the NS Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer Street in Halifax. The guest speaker will be David Patriquin who is a retired Biology Professor from Dalhousie University. He will be speaking on the topic of Nova Scotia Forests at a Turning Point. He will be talking about old forests in Nova Scotia and the recently released Lahey Report on forestry practices in Nova Scotia with regard to the issue of clear cutting.
