Hi everyone,

I've got a cottage rented on Fletchers lake, on the lower portion of the lake, this week. We were told there's no launch on the property, but that there is a launch to the lake. I've got a HRM document that says there's an access point on Lockview Rd, and access to Thomas Lake on Fall River Rd. I've been around on google maps on all the streets around the lakes and can't find anything that looks like it's public. If anyone knows where I could launch a boat, it would be greatly appreciated! It's a 14ft fiberglass boat.

Most times when HRM says there is "lake access" it is only a cleared area suitable to toss a canoe or kayak into the lake and not an actual boat launch that would allow floating a larger boat off a trailer unfortunately.  A short drive from Fletchers lake and you can launch your boat into Grand Lake at Oakfield Park or Lake William at the DNR office.
