Hi folks,

I am somewhat new on here, but love all of your posts!  I have been fishing the South Shore for a few years now and I have a river that I am comfortable wading alone.  I am planning on doing a trip to North River in Cape Breton and I'm planning on going alone.  Is there any concerns or safety issues with me fishing this River alone?  I was wondering where the best place to access or any special considerations that I should make?

Its pretty safe there....just let some one know your plans and when you'd expect to check in with someone. If you're in a kayak or whatever, wear a PFD...just use common sense. Good luck with the trip.
