Iv been to Maynard lake in Dartmouth last week, it seems a really good place to fish. Anyone know what kind of species in that lake, and also is that OK if I fish at the northwest end of the lake where it is just beside Wyndholme Ave. I will be very appretiate for any suggestions. Good luck fishing this season.
cheers

Thanks tradesman, that helps me a lot.it is stocked with rainbow trout and there is bass in there as well. early season a lot of the guys use the powerbait just off the bottom.
Still have that question, the northwest end of the lake seems like a park, is it ok if I fish around there?

you can pretty much fish the whole lake. aside from the yards on the nw side. its not that big you can walk around most of it.
why can't you fish the yards on the nw side?

you can walk and fish all ya want.
as tradesman said tho,
"if you want to fish next to guy raking his leaves or barbecuing with the kids feel free."
watch out for the kids, they can show up just as you cast.you dont want to hook someone by mistake.
