Hey All
I have been fishing a few areas for saltwater species for the past couple of years. This year NOAA is issuing an El Niño Advisory and though this is really a Pacific Ocean event, it would be foolish to not acknowledge that it has global effects. I was wondering if anyone can recall any fishing experiences during past El Niño years? I am curious to how it will affect salt water fishing particularly with squid, macks, and stripers.
My gut tells me that warmer waters should mean a better (and maybe longer) season, but this wouldn't be the first time my gut as lead me astray.
Look forward to hearing from you guys!
