My father wants to help someone get started in smelt fishing, but neither of us has gone for a long time. Anyone know when the runs start in some Halifax county rivers?

Hey Shienar,

You interested in fishing one of these days soon? This weekend is no good for me (daughters Bday) but I am available other days.

I think it might just be that lake but I don't know. I have seen the signs posted on the rivers that state the closures... hmmm I think the fish swim Monday to Thursday as well though...
