Yeah its strange that goose harbour allegedly has landlocked salmon, triploid rainbows, browns.....figured people would be all over it. hogwash is it? Or is it so full of fish that people keep it quiet.... there has to have been someone who's been there fishing

Goose Harbour was a good lake to fish ..Had Landlocks .Rainbows and Speckles ..always went up in the first of spring for 10 days or more and always had action ..never seen any Browns come out ,,,lake can be bad for waves ,more white caps if the wind was coming down towards the old white camp ..Scary you just didn't go out ..always took my 14 ft fiberglass and its a heavy boat ..still get tossed around like you were in a dingy..

Haven't been up for the last few years ..and if you seen another boat or person on the lake beside ourselves it was busy ..never could figure why no one fished it as was always good ..maybe because it was so far back

Iam wondering about access to this lake in the winter, can you drive in or do you you have to hike in? I would like to try it out and would hike in if ain't too far. I only fish catch and release and would probaly only be able to get up once a winter so no worry about me overfishing it.
