Hello,
Does anyone know of a bamboo rod maker in the province who does restoration work as well? A friend gifted me with a 9', 3pc, 2 tip salmon rod many years ago. It seems in decent shape but needs some TLC like the ferules need to be re-glued, windings need re-done,the rod cleaned and re-varnished.
This was originally sold by LL Bean and, depending on the cost, I may get it refurbished. What I'm hoping is to find someone in the province who is capable to do this kind of work. Mr. Durling is no longer able to do this kind of work due to ill health so I'm looking for someone else that has the skills needed to perform this kind of work. Thank you.
