Trout Clubs/Organizations
  • Trout Nova Scotia - Trout Nova Scotia is a registered non-profit Society whose mandate is to ensure an improved and sustainable trout fishery in the Province of Nova Scotia for future generations. Trout Nova Scotia has resident members in all areas of Nova Scotia as well as non-resident members who come and enjoy Nova Scotia during the fishing season.
  • Trout Unlimited Canada - Nova Scotia - Trout Unlimited Canada Nova Scotia (TUC-NS) is a non-profit group dedicated to ensuring a healthy and sustainable trout fishery in Nova Scotia, and will strive to attain this goal through the protection, preservation and restoration of trout habitat, as well as promoting ethical fishing practices and sound management strategies.
Salmon Clubs/Organizations
  • Nova Scotia Salmon Association - Since 1963, the Nova Scotia Salmon Association has been a leading volunteer organization promoting the wise management and conservation of our wild Atlantic salmon and trout stocks. We are a registered charitable organization and are listed under the Societies Act of Nova Scotia. The Association has an office in Chester and is represented by the Regional Director of the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
  • Sackville Rivers Association - The Sackville Rivers Association (SRA) is dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enhancement of the Sackville River Watershed. Activities include the restoration of aquatic habitat, the development of a conservation corridor and the implementation of a multi-use trail system for the benefit of all residents of the watershed.
  • St. Mary's River Association
  • Cobequid Salmon Association - The Cobequid Salmon Association (CSA) is directed and operated by a board of 20 directors with a membership of about 200. The CSA's mandate is to protect, conserve and enhance the salmon and other fish stock, as well as to maintain and improve the general habitat of the 22 rivers and main streams that flow into the Cobequid Bay.
Bass Clubs/Organizations
  • C.A.S.A. - The Canadian Association of Smallmouth Anglers is a family based fishing organization focusing on the conservation and preservation of Smallmouth Bass and the environment. If you enjoy smallmouth bass fishing we invite you to join our organization and support our efforts. C.A.S.A. is based in Nova Scotia which is the location for our tournaments and meetings. This does not mean people outside of Nova Scotia can not join C.A.S.A. as we encourage all to join.

  • Annapolis Valley Bass Club - The Annapolis Valley Bass Club is a family club that have open and club only fishing tournaments. Open tournaments are for the teams, where as club tournaments are for club members and their families that like to get involved in the sport of fishing, along with fun outings and camping. So bring the family and enjoy a day of fishing with friends.
  • Lakeside Smallmouth Bass Club - L.S.B.C. was started in 1988 making it one of the oldest bass clubs in Nova Scotia. L.S.B.C. tournament waters are mainly located in the Digby and Yarmouth Counties, which are considered the best bass waters in the province. Having the mildest climate in Nova Scotia and an abundance of good fishing lakes has developed in several trophy lakes in the area.
  • Bronze Back Bassers - This club is designed to meet the needs of the HRM and surrounding area fisherman providing a unique and new way to fish bass tournaments. This bass trail will allow the novice bass fisherman to the most experienced fisherman to fish in a semi pro tournament atmosphere. The tournaments are designed to run with minimum intervention from tournament officials, in a total prize payout format. All tournaments will take place within the HRM and surrounding areas. The club will provide a challenging night tournament on Mic Mac and Banook Lake. If you are looking for a new way to tournament fish next year then we recommend you give the Bronze Back Bassers a try.

  • Annapolis Fly Fishing Association - The AFFA is a diverse group of people. This diversity allows people with a passion for sport fishing to be just as passionate in the conservation aspect of the sport. Welcome to those who feel the same!
  • Halifax Wildlife Association - The Halifax Wildlife Association was established in 1853 and is the oldest of its kind, (i.e. an association of hunters and fishermen), in North America. Its objective is to foster wise and sound management of the renewable natural resources of Halifax County and the Province of Nova Scotia so that their economic, recreational and aesthetic values may be perpetuated for future generations of our people.
  • Pictou County Rivers Association - The Pictou County Rivers Association was founded in 1990 in Westville Nova Scotia by residents who dedicated to protecting and conserving Pictou County Rivers through organized volunteer work and education.

  • Wildlife Habitat Advocats - The wildlife Habitat Advocats is a volunteer habitat conservation organization based in Windsor NS since 1994.  Dedicated to creating, enhancing and maintaining wildlife habitat through hands-on projects. We're a get-in-the-woods and get dirty group !  Annual membership fee is $ 10.00 16 years and under free. Business membership is 25.00 per year or 150.00 for lifetime.
