Tournament Results
Shortts Lake, May 6th 2007
CASA’s first tournament for 2007 was held on Shortts Lake on May 6th 2007. The day started off with strong NW winds and increased to 25 knots by the afternoon. Despite the wind/rain/snow/hail and yes some sunshine, 18 boats with 42 senior and junior anglers competed for top prizes. Total number of Bass caught was 13 with a total weight of 20.1 lbs, this averaged out to 1.54 lbs per fish. The total number of Chain Pickerel caught was 28 for a total weight of 28.73 lbs, this averaged out to 2.6 lbs per 3 fish. The prize format for this tournament was Largest weight of 1 Bass, Largest weight of 3 Pickerel and the largest combination weight of both the Bass and the Pickerel.

Grand Lake, July 2nd 2007
CASA’s fished Grand Lake on July 2nd 2007. The day started off with light winds and increased to 5 knots by the afternoon. Despite the calm weather and sunshine, fishing was tough, 22 boats competed for top prizes. Total number of Bass caught was 84 with a total weight of 121. Lbs, this averaged out to 1.44 lbs per fish. The top five boats received cash prizes with the top 3 receiving trophies as well. Casa paid out a cash prize for the Lunker.

Morris Lake , August 12th 2007
CASA fished Morris Lake on August 12th 2007. The day had light SW winds and a high temp of 29 degrees. 15 teams competed for top prizes. Total number of Bass caught was 44 with a total weight of 30.34 lbs, this averaged out to 1.45 lbs per fish. The top 3 teams received trophies.

CASA fished Panuke Lake on Sept 9th 2007. The day had medium to strong SW winds and a high temp of 22 degrees. 18 teams competed for top prizes. Total number of Bass caught was 85 with a total weight of 84.15 lbs, this averaged out to 1.01 lbs per fish. The top 3 teams received trophies.

Iron Man - Shortt's Lake , October 14th 2007
CASA's Ironman was held on Shortts Lake on the 14 Oct 2007. The day started
off with light winds and felt more like a mid summer tournament than the
Ironman. Despite the calm weather and sunshine, fishing was tough, 14 boats
competed for top prizes. Total number of Bass caught was 42 with a total
weight of 69.7lbs, this averaged out to 1.65 lbs per fish. The top three
boats received cash prizes with the top team receiving trophies as well.
CASA paid out a cash prize for the Lunker.
